Who we are

DM3D Ltd operates this website and is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact dan@danny-mac.com with any questions.

Account and membership

When you sign in with Patreon, we store your account identity, membership verification and login time to manage access to member content. Essential cookies keep you signed in.

Learning progress

We save your course progress so you can continue where you left off.

Site activity

While you are signed in, we record the pages you visit and estimate active time when the page is visible and you interact with it or play a video. Detailed page activity is retained for 90 days.

We do not record keystrokes, screen contents or your browsing on other websites.

How this information is used

Site administrators use this information to manage membership access, support members and improve the learning experience.

Why we use your information

We use account and membership information to provide the member services you request, and learning progress to let you resume your courses. These uses support our contract with you. We use access records and limited site activity for our legitimate interests in securing the service, providing support and improving the courses.

You can browse public pages without signing in. Patreon account and membership verification are needed to access protected content.

Service providers

Our website hosting, file storage and video delivery providers process technical information such as IP addresses and browser details to deliver and secure the service. Patreon handles membership and sign-in; Gumroad handles shop checkout. Their services have their own privacy notices and payment terms. We do not collect your card details on this website.

Some providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside the UK. Contact us for information about the providers and transfer arrangements that apply to your data.

How long information is kept

Detailed site activity is retained for 90 days. Account and learning records remain available so returning members can recover their progress. Retention is reviewed when an account is closed or a deletion request is received, taking account of any outstanding support, security or legal requirements. Signing out ends your current session; it does not delete your progress.

Your choices and rights

You can contact us to request access to your personal information, correct it or ask for it to be deleted. Depending on the circumstances, you may also have rights to restrict or object to its use, or receive a portable copy. We may need to verify your identity before handling a request.

You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email us to make a request or discuss your circumstances.

You can raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office.
